Today, I have included the Joel Greenblatt's Magic Formula to the excel template and update the template to v1.20. You can click here to access the said template on the One Drive.
The "Magic" worksheet is a new worksheet that prepared all figures and ratio required by Joel Greenblatt's Magic Formula based on existing Financial Statement Analysis Template. As usual, all the required data will be auto picked by the Magic worksheet after you filled in the purple colour input worksheet as per specified in Financial Statement Analysis Template.
It provide a summary of the ROIC and EY for the pass 10 year, Latest FY vs Current Price, and T4Q vs Current Price. We can review the figure and jot down our evaluation idea on the purple color cell.
Apart from that, the worksheet also prepare other criterias as per discussed on Joel Greenblatt's Magic Formula i.e:
- Steady income for pass few years
- Quality on Earnings
- Healthy balance sheet - little & manageable debt
- Price is well below the DCF intrinsic value (huge MOS)
- Some growth.....
